Why now

Bulgaria adopted the euro on 1 January 2026. A company registered here now banks, invoices and files in the same currency as the rest of the single market. The 10% corporate rate has not changed.

Why Bulgaria

The case, in six facts

10%

Flat corporate tax

Ten per cent, unconditionally, since 2007. No sliding scale, no surcharge for higher profits. It is one of the lowest standard rates in the European Union, and it has not moved once in nineteen years.

Eurozone member

Since 1 January 2026, the lev is gone. Every invoice, every bank transfer and every tax filing runs in euro, the same as in Germany or France.

Full EU and Schengen

Bulgaria is not an associate or a candidate. It is a full member of the single market and, since 2025, of Schengen — no internal border checks on goods moving onward into the EU.

Sixty to seventy per cent lower costs

Office rent, salaries and utilities all run well below the Western European average, without leaving the EU's legal and banking system.

A strategic location

On the eastern edge of the EU, bordering Turkey and close to the Black Sea shipping routes. For goods moving between Asia and Europe, Bulgaria sits closer to the front door than almost anywhere else in the bloc.

Eleven working days

Our average time from signed engagement letter to a registered, bank-ready company.
