Questions

Before you book a call

Anything not covered here, ask on the consultation — there is no charge for it.

How long does registration take?

Five business days from complete documents to a registered company. The clock starts when we have your notarised power of attorney and identification — collecting those typically takes another one to three days on your side.

Do I need to visit Bulgaria?

No. We act under a power of attorney notarised in your own country and attend the notary and registry on your behalf. Some banks ask to meet a director in person before opening an account — we will tell you upfront if yours does, and arrange it around one trip.

What documents do I need?

A passport copy for each owner and director, proof of residential address, and a short summary of the intended business activity. Corporate shareholders also provide their registration certificate. We send the checklist in English or Bulgarian and handle all certified translations your documents need.

Can you help with visas for my staff?

Yes — EU Blue Card for qualified specialists, D-visa and single work-and-residence permits for other roles, plus family reunification. Permits require an operating company, so this runs after formation. It is included in the Complete package and quoted separately otherwise.

What's the total cost including government fees?

Your quoted fee plus state, notary and translation fees at cost — for a standard EOOD these third-party costs are typically well under €200 in total. They appear as separate line items on the quote you receive before any work starts. There are no success fees and no surprises at the end.

Do you offer ongoing support after setup?

Yes. Monthly accounting and payroll quoted on your transaction volume, annual filings, statutory changes, and a compliance calendar so deadlines never arrive unannounced. Standard and Complete include one and three months of operational liaison respectively; after that it continues monthly.

Can a foreigner own the company outright?

Yes. A non-resident individual or a foreign company can hold 100% of a Bulgarian EOOD and serve as its sole director. There is no residency requirement and no local shareholder is needed — the nominee director service exists for banking and practical reasons, not legal ones.
